Odd couple?

One from last month while in northern Michigan. Went for a walk along the beach after dinner. Noticed this couple...he seemed oddly dressed for a beach visit and she was so intent on feeding seagulls that she got down in the sand with them. An unusual scene, so I took a few photos from a distance.

This is a great open story picture. I also like the effect created by the sand in the background : it looks like it is raising like a wall.
