2nd duck photo from Nayanquing Point. Happy with image quality, but depressing nonetheless as this is likely a domestic duck out in the wild. Have seen this before, have read that some domestic ducks and geese are bought as pets and abandoned or they can wander from their home. Unlikely to survive with winter coming as they are not suited for the wild.

Great shot, if a little sad when one reads your commentary. We have these domestic ducks let out, or escaped, into the wild as well. They do quite well in our part of Australia, however, as the winters are relatively mild. We have a large herd of geese as well: same story.
I just hate when people don't take care of their animals. I mean, don't have them if you can't or won't, why is that hard? Lovely image though. Hoping the best for it...
