All this week I've been keeping an eye out for blue. There's ALOT of blue in my house but not alot worth taking photos of. So anyway mid conversation with the other half today I saw some blue out of the corner of my eye and here it is. These little salt and pepper shakers completely slipped my mind because I don't really use them, not sure why but I know I had a reason.
So I snapped away, boosted the colour a touch and threw in some framing. Ta da! Another entry for the theme :-)
How cute; definitely wouldn't use them. They are true kitsch (ought to tag them). The salt would probably clog but they sure look good. Great theme shot, too.
@girlie Thanks Robin! I feel like that might be what happened. I did use them once, until they were empty but I think one of the blocked up too many times. So now they just sit in my kitchen looking cute next to a matching egg cup :-)

@nikkers Yes, that's what they used to do, but it doesn't really work in very humid climates like ours. I finally took up salt grinders after trying everything.
Poor Ross! I think he has a lot of blue to look through! I saw that there are over a thousand entries already! There is so much blue when you look around you. Love these little fellows, they are really bold and blue!

@digitalrn I try not to buy too many 'dust collectors' but these were too cute not to. Plus I LOVE VW Beetles lol. I used to have 2 but had to sell them.
