Yes, you have seen me traveling here and there, far away places, by plane, by ship, or by car, and finally I made it home (sweet home) driving a U-Haul truck... Yes, there is the anonymous little super hero in me... After the big storm last week, and lots of damage, and no energy, under a heat wave... I left the Jersey shore and drove about 1400 miles to Miami. It was an adventure, and thanks to God I safely arrived HOME!!!
Nice collage, you got some really fun pictures in it. Driving a U-Haul 1400 miles is daunting, so many of them have horrible suspension systems. Hope yours was better than most we've rented, and isn't it great to be back HOME after a long trip?
@olivetreeann - The same for me, drove every where, but never in a U-haul... there is a first time for everything in life, and I am glad I was able to do it. Thanks for your comment.
@maggiemae - Miami is my permanent home. New Jersey is a summer home but there was a big storm last week and I got many things and brought them to Miami. Thank you for your comment and visit.
Wow ... what a journey! Have enjoyed my travels with you around the country and the world, Ana. Where were you living before Miami?!! I love your collage and each photo in it ...that's alot of miles. You really are a little Super Hero!!
@mtngal - I have to tell you, Harriett, that I was amazed what a wonderful U-Haul I got. It only had 4000 miles, nice suspension, great seats, fantastic back-view mirrors, excellent A/C. No complains whatsoever. I love traveling, but yes, it's great to be back home.
@photos222 - Thank you Sybil for your comment and visit. Miami is my permanent home, and I am glad to be back! I love to travel, but there is nothing like home.
@karenann - LOL Karenann, you are so sweet. Yet, those were a lot of miles. Miami is my home, and NJ the summer place, but with the storm last week I came back. Thank you for accompanying me in my travels, it was a pleasure to be with you!
@kwind - Thank you, kwind, I appreciate your comment, and I am glad you enjoyed the shots during the trip. Oh my... good question: how long was I away? I left on May 4th... so: 2 months. It was a wonderful experience, but happy to be back.
It was so fun to be with you on your travels. You did such a GREAT job with all of your shots. Thank you for sharing. Glad you made it home safe and sound!!!
@carrapeta00 - Thank you Lara, I really appreciate your comments. I also love that shot with the clouds. Kind of irresponsible from me to be taking pictures while driving... LOL
@yonnie - Thank you Yvonne. You were a great companion on my trip. I really appreciate all your comments along the way. Now I will try to be more constant with my 365 "friends".
@karenann - I am glad you liked those uploads, and I will probably add more collages, since I realize people like you enjoy it as much as I did. I really appreciate your feedback.
wow! I was wondering when you would end this trip! Amazing places you have been! I have enjoyed them so much...hope we get a 'filler' shot now and then...
@vickisfotos Thanks a lot Vicki. Yes, I am finally home. So glad you have enjoyed the uploads, and thank you for all your comments along the way. I will definitely plan to add some fillers...
Glad that you are safe back home, I have driven across country in a U-haul that is not for the fanit of heart, good work. Love the collection of photos to remember your trip~
Very nice collage, Ana! I thought you spent the summers in the North to escape the heat. You sure have been a rolling stone! Glad you're back safe in your winter home for a while.
Welcome home! It is always nice to get back home. Thank you for sharing all of your travels with us. It has been nice to see a different part of the world through your photos.
WOW!.....You are quite the intrepid explorer AnaZad, We are so lucky to have been able to share your wonderful experiences!....Glad you are home safe, & loving your wonderful collage! : )
Great collage, with some excellent individual shots! always good to travel and even better getting home! Must have been some trip ending with that drive!
@anden - thanks so much Anatoly. I really find it's fun to make a collage, and this one I was planning along the driving. I appreciate your FAV and continuous support.
@marlboromaam - LOL, the rolling stone finally landed at home! You are so funny. The storm did a lot of damage in the house, so I came back to Miami. Thanks Maggie for your continuous support.
@annbo - I like your term of "intrepid explorer", and I would have to admit that fits my personality. It was an adventure that was not in my list, but I did what I had to do. Thanks a lot, Ann.
@ruthmouch - Thank you Ruth. It was a challenge that was not in my list-to-do, but fortunately I did what I had to do... Proud to finish it with no problems.
Welcome back to sunny FL! I thought you were going to spend the summer at the Jersey Shore. Are you going back up there, or spending the summer here? Great collages, one after another, after another....!
I wish I would have known you were coming down I-95. You passed 2 miles from my home. I would have gladly have hade you to our home for a drink or a tea. My wife also follows your post and we would love to meet you some time.
@billsouth - Yes, Bill, had to change plans; the storm of last week caused problems and I came back to Miami. I am glad you like the collages; It's a new thing in my project, and I like it. Thanks for everything.
@billsouth - Oh Bill, thanks so much; that would had been nice. If you come down to Miami, please let me know, since it will be lovely to meet both of you.
I know that route..we drove from Toronto to New Jersey ..stayed there visiting friends overnight and on to Orlando..the miles add up fast and you in a U-Haul..wow..how fast can go go with it? your collage tells a nice story.
@bruni - Bruni, I have to tell you that the U-Haul truck was surprisingly very comfortable. Great seats and good suspension. I started driving conservatively at 55 mph, but as I got used to the truck and went to an average 70 mph. Glad you liked the collage. Thank you.
Welcome HOME! And Florida is the best place to be. Your collage is so entertaining and I really like how you documented your trip, so very clever and a fav!
Welcome home ;)
Thanks for your comments and visit. It was quite an experience.
