Saw The Lovely Bones today. Chose to see it at Vue in the West End because I've never been to that cinema. Very expensive, £12.15! Was feeling sad and didn't want to stay home so I went out just after noon and didn't go home until about 9pm. Film was good. For dinner I bought chinese takeaway from a small shop doing half price meals and ate it at the Festival Hall. Stayed there the rest of the evening reading the film mag Tammy lent me. I find a strange comfort sitting amongst many people. You can be alone but not really. Inaudible chatter somehow drowns out destructive thoughts. It's warmer there too than hanging out in my room.
