Baguley Hall by andrewrome365

Baguley Hall

This is one of the oldest parts of Baguley Hall, a 14th-century timber framed hall in Baguley, Greater Manchester.
It is listed as a Grade I listed building and a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
It is also on the endangered list due to neglect by Manchester Council.
The current hall may be on the site of an earlier hall, possibly from the 11th or 12th century.
It's amazing to think there are buildings that old here. We marvel when something is older than 200 years old! Hopefully more attention will be paid to taking care of it. Nice shot.

I do love this door, the framing and pattern and shapes. Outstanding find.

Did you get in? It was all locked up and fenced off when I went earlier in the year.
