I attended (and managed to stay awake throughout) a conference today at the rather grand Russell Hotel in Bloomsbury, London. The hotel is one of those really OTT examples of Victorian architecture, all follies, arches, balustrades and balconies... nice though..
It was raining all day (again) so today's pic was taken in a hurry during the lunch break... Pity I didn't notice the lamppost at the time...lol
ta for all the kind comments guys... I wasn't actually sure balustrades was the right word so had to google to double check... oh, and to check the spelling...:-)
