I was reading in one of my Dad's photography magazines all about taking photos of flowers, and how sometimes a blurred pic can be just as visually interesting as a clear and clean snap... Hmmm... those in the mag looked good, I'm not sure about my attempt.
Nondescript day in work, hardly anyone in and very quiet. Tried to book an appointment for a scan on my knee, but after a 10 minute phone call, was told I have to wait for a letter ...BUT I will be seen within 3 months!!! Gotta love the NHS :-)
Very pretty shot. Also shot some pics of flowers this weekend and many looked blurred...yet somehow it didn't matter. Sorry to hear about your knee and the NHS issue...especially now that OUR health care reform is in the works. Yikes!
(Does the rest of the world wonder why we would subject ourselves to NHS as well??!!! I spend summers in Canada...I get what you're saying!) OK, off the soap box...good luck with the knee!
I think your photograph turned out spectacularly well! You had the choice of about three focal points, and this was a charming choice for a stargazer lily as it has textural interest. Nice job, I'd say!
