Stuck for something to take today, so I dug out this old baseball glove and grabbed a quick snap. Some days I guess are like this, miserable day weather wise, lack of imagination and nothing particularly interesting to take... hey ho!!
My brother-in-law gave me this glove (a Rick Monday (who?!?!?) spalding glove) with a 'Adirondack Reggie Wilson' (who again...) wooden bat and ball when I was about 11 or 12 (God! That's nearly 30 years ago... aaaggghhh...). He was in the navy and had just returned from the States.
Must admit, I've hardly used it, but of course, footie is more our thing over here... :-)
I thought the same thing Tara did... This weekend I watched the teams playing in the park. Always a sign of spring in the states, to see a baseball mitt...
