You could be looking at a photo of a couple of ducks, as that is what I snapped this afternoon. But when home, I noticed a great sunset of I grabbed my camera and took the 5 minute walk down to the river for a few snaps.
I took my P&S as it has a sunset mode and I wanted to try it out. I learnt 2 things. 1) the sun sets really quickly and 2) the sunset mode's ok, but not great.. Although it did capture just how red the sky was this evening.
Nice lunch today.. My girlfriend emailled to say lets meet up. Only when we met did she let on she'd left her purse at home and needed some cash... lol... No problem, was a nice couple of hours out of the office.
Rest of the day mainly spent chatting about footie and how useless a certain Mr Prince Boateng is at taking penalties!!!!
What a beautiful sunset, but I can see one thing that you probably do, too. That sunset mode makes the blue sky an orange colour also...not such a great thing. I have a sunset mode on my camera...now I'd have to give that some thought. We can learn so much from each other here, can't we?
thanks guys. think the sunset mode is a bit too overpowering on the reds but when I tried without, it just wasn't capturing the full colours of the sky... still, all your great comments are very much appreciated... :-)
love the colors and compostion on this one
