As I was at the West End today, I stopped off at Covent Garden to watch the entertainers and grab some lunch. Took some photos of jugglers and the like, but spotted this lady as I was leaving who was busy painting the scene.
Grabbed a sneeky photo - hope she doesn't mind :-).
Glorious weather today - really sunny and warm and not a cloud in the sky. Why wasn't yesterday like this???
News today is a some lunitic shot and killed 12 people and injured 25 in Cumbria before turning the gun on himself. Thankfully guns are still fairly rare in the UK otherwise I reckon this sort of thing would happen more often...
Street artists are something we don't see around here, along with buskers. I've only been the UK once, but those are some of the memories that have stayed with me.
I can see why you were drawn to take this (wonderful!) picture over the artist's shoulder...I'd love a piece like that to hang in this old home! That made for a really nice photo!
Thank you for the curry recipe. When I saw it, I thought I'd definitely plan to make it, but there are so many ingredients I'm pretty sure I won't find around here. I appreciate the thought, though, and I know it must be an amazing dish and I've seen that you're quite skilled in the kitchen yourself!
