Busy Bee by andycoleborn

Busy Bee

Had a go at trying to take photos of bees this evening. Pretty hard when they don't stop still even for a second! I think these flowers were driving them crazy as they were in and out, buzzing about and proving to be proper useless models for this project.

Caught a couple of half decent shots of them flying, but I wasn't entirely happy with them (Not sure if my camera is good enough or if I need to do something to get crisp clear shots of them flying).

Decided on this pic of one chap stuck right into a flower... Will give it a go again, hopefully the bees will be more helpful and won't be sooo fast...

Talking of busy bees, my day was a bit like that.. Spent all day glued to the PC revamping leaflets. Although the camera did make an appearance as I had to use some colleagues for models on the new domestic violence leaflet I did, funny how excited some people get pretending to beat each other up!!
Great shot!! It is hard to capture bees, but you did a wonderful job!!

Yes have been to Trafalgar Square - actually there are four there ... and I've been to the King's Road and Sloane Square - it's all rather sad really ...

Beautiful!...the bokeh really enhance the foreground capture.

(p/s : tried a few times & failed in my quest for "bee-catching")

Very nice! I have a couple of bee shots and you are right, they don't stop for a second. I guess that's why we call them busy bees LOL.

A great shot Andy. It's interesting to see folks having a go at photos outside their comfort zone.
Thank you for your comment on my rain drops....high praise indeed coming from you..:-)
