Bought a Nikon D5000 for work today plus a Hama 153cm tripod as a little treat to myself.
The work's camera was broken at our office Christmas party (nothing to do with me!!) and I've been using my own Nikon D40 ever since.
Finally managed to talk management into giving me some dosh to purchase something for work. Managed to squeeze £500 out of them so today I made my way to Best Buy and bought my new toys.
Decided on a Nikon as have become fairly familiar with my own camera... Think I'm going to like the D5000.. Plenty to play with..
Been thinking of a tripod for a while now, decided this wasn't too bad a deal (£40) so thought...why not.... Took this snap in the bath, with me balanced on the edge.. As you do...lol
