Hot, hot day today. High 80s, clear skies and did I mention... hot!
Knew it was a full moon and as I was at my girlfriends, I took my tripod out for the first time to try a long exposure shot of the moon. Trouble was, I didn't see it! Looked out back, not there. Looked out front, not there! So gave up and tried my first attempt at snapping the stars.
Bit too much light and only tried a couple of shots, but theres a few stars and a couple of shooting stars bottom centre. Know what to do now so will try again at a darker location.
Talking of stars.. it was bye bye to the Stars and Stips today as they lost 2-1 to Ghana.
gorgeous colors! i think this still turned out well... and that's the best, when you try to get one result but end up with something completely different but still great!
When I clicked on the photo, before I read your comment, I said to myself, look there are stars. That is pretty neat, even though you didn't get a shot of the moon.
Nice shot here, makes it feel like autumn. Good colours and the stars are cute!
