Took my bike out for a spin this evening.. First time in 2 years!! Gave it a quick check over, pumped up the tires then headed out along the river for a couple of hours.
Spottedd a huge plume of smoke so headed off in the direction to see what was going on - nothing much, apparently some kids had set fire to junk on a piece of waste land.
Came across a little cemetery nearby, reckon it's a pikey's cemetery though - many OTT graves adorned with horses, trucks, caravans and the like (Whoops... not very PC there... of course, I mean traveller, not pikey...)
Noticed this angel on a gravestone and thought it might make a decent photo silhouetted against the sun and smoke.
Back home in time for Brazil's comfortable win (Well done Dora...) with a saddle sore rear...Ouch!! Best not to leave it another 2 years before going for a cycle again...
Love the silhouetted. And I hope you go again soon to another cycle, it is so good. My husband and I always go with the children.
Happy with Brazil today. Not this time I'll take a picture like yours (England! Up in flames!). But my husband told me to think about "Brazil! Up in flames!" next Friday vs Holland. Hope not !
