Long, long day today. Up early and starting preparing grub for this afternoon's BBQ.
Potato salad made, prawns marinated then turned into kebabs, lamb marinated in 2 different flavours - BBQ and spicy mustard sauce - salad picked, washed and made.
All done before noon... Far too busy for a Saturday morning!!
Had friends over for the day - including a couple down from Birmingham for the weekend. Was a really nice day, great food, good company and fantastic weather.
Last night me and my girlfriend went shopping and stopped off here for a midnight walk. We suggested driving down again this evening, so we jumped into a couple of cars and headed to the docks in Beckton for a late night wander - there was a nice cooling breeze, which was needed after the scorching weather of late.
This is another long exposure attempt,taken just before midnight, with camera rested on the floor looking across the Royal Victoria Dock.
Am quite pleased with this one - Straight from the camera, no tweeks or touch-ups...

Thanks Cheryl, I've tagged and Vik, yeah, this was about 15 second exposure - took a few but resting the camera on the ground and clicking still brought about a small shake - this was easily the best of the night and even if I say so myself, I'm rather pleased with this snap :-)
