Took this silhouette of a beacon and trees down by the River Thames this evening. Was trying to get the sun positioned exactly in the beacon's basket... But it was far too bright to stare too long at the sun so just missed it..
Didn't go into work today. Woke early but was so exhausted after the last few days rushing about that I decided I needed a lazy day to recharge my batteries.
Was a nice day weather wise so took a walk around the local bird reserve and along the Thames this afternoon then spent most of the evening slouched on the sofa watching TV.
I see what you were after...well, that's good enough! Better you not ruin your eyes in the process! The silhouette turned out beautifully and there's nice light on the water... we get it!
I've not been commenting for a few days....glad to hear things are on the improve for your dad.....you grabbed some great pics of the south coast in the past few days...love the wind surfing one and this beacon. Do you remember when they lit them for the Queen's Jubilee? (think it was then)
Aaron - I tend to agree, cropped it out but wasn't happy with that so decided just to upload as it was... :-)
But as always, thanks for all your comments guys
