Had to pop to Ilford this lunchtime to visit one of the many Asian grocery stores there to stock up on some specialist goodies.
Most high street super markets now stock a wide range of, what was once considered, exoctic foods, but the specialist shops still house a variety of unknown and down right wierd looking things (to me anyhow...).. Especially the spice section..
Most fruit and vegetables are fairly common place these days, and of course, these chillies aren't anything unusual, but the vibrant and fresh colours did catch my eye as I wandered past...
I was a little paranoid about getting my camera out in the middle of the store so as slyly as I could, I lifted it out of my bag and holding the camera at waist height (hoping I had left it on auto focus) I snapped a couple of shots before any anyone spotted me.
Hence not quite as well focused as I would have liked, nor showing as much of the display as I'd of wished.
Great shot, took me a while to see the mirror. Quite amazing what's available....been looking back at what you've been up to while I've been away.....loved the Basildon comments lol! and the boat picture.
Ha! That's so funny. I thought of shooting something in a grocery a week or so ago and found myself feeling quite conspicuous. Good for you for following your impulse. Great shot!
HOT pic !!!!
