Mayor's Ball

Went to the Mayors Ball last night, all glitz and glamour, ball gowns and tuxedos... What I didn’t expect, was to see Sangeeta there!

And not just anywhere, but on the top table together with 3 London Mayors and 2 Members of Parliament and their partners!!! Not only that, but she arrived in the Mayor’s chauffeur driven limo..!!

And how did this happen….? Well, she actually works with the Mayor (in his day-to-day 'proper' job) and when he heard from her that I would be at the ball, he insisted she went along as well. Was a very nice surprise seeing her there though.

Took quite a few nice photos of my colleagues – who all scrubbed up rather well if truth be told… Wasn’t sure of which individual image to upload so put together a simple montage. Didn’t get home until 1am, a bit tipsy (that’ll teach me for mixing champagne and red wine) and now feeling too tired to put in a proper shift in the office.
