Today was one of those rare days where I had an idea for a photo, and actually got what I wanted. The crescent moon was a bit of a bonus though.
The weather today was again fantastic, really warm and clear sunny skies, so after work, I caught the tube up to Westminster to take some photos of the Houses of Parliament, with the hope of silhoutting the buildings against the setting sun.
I stayed for about an hour and took some good shots. This was taken standing next to the London Eye looking across the Thames.
I was thinking about staying a little longer, until it became dark and to take some night time long exposure shots - although I think I'd better come prepared and have my tripod with me so will do this again in a month or so. Clocks go back later this month so it will soon get dark about 4pm...
@blightygal tell me about it..!!!! I hate leaving and getting home in the dark. That's why I couldn't live up north... imagine... rain all summer and what? 2 or 3 hours daylight in winter lol....
? You only have 13 pics to go and you are at 365. ( Well done ) What happens then when the year is up? Do we just drop off and do some thing else, or carry on beyond?
@farmboy9155 I know, can't believe the year is nearly up.. Have really got into photography and will carry on, Have also been thinking about starting a second album as well (!!!!)... This one and an odds and sods album for experiments etc
