Yep.. You guessed it.! Yet another night time shot and yet another long exposure shot.. Sorry if I'm boring anyone...
This time, instead of the Wharf, I walked into the City of London to snap the Lloyds Building. It's a fantastic building to photograph as there's so much going on... Took this shot, a 2 second exposure, resting the camera on a post pointing straight up. I even quite like the lens flare...
Definately got man flu... Today I've gone through 2 lemons, a large piece of ginger, lots of honey and half a packet of nurofen but still feel like crap...
Some wicked shots Andy from your other site too, very jealous of not having much near me to shoot. I've knocked it on the head for a while, think I got a cold after up a month shooting outside every night
There is full list here. I posted months ago on forum - all nightwork photos buildings from across London. I suggest you get cuppa, as you'll be a while browsing. I know I was when I first found it. Cheers
@azza_l Cheers mate...Don't think it's doing me any good at the moment hanging about after dark taking photos - but with bonfire night coming up, don't think I'll get a rest for a few more days... Ta for links, will check them out tomorrow as knackered and off for an early night... cheers again
love this Andy the colours of all the light sis very nice and the flare is quite nice too, as for the photographers ight there has been quite alot bubbling under over the last year about it.hmmmmm
My eyes positively popped when I first set eyes on the thumbnail. What a great shot!!! Love the curve of the building on the left (can't tell if it's a true curve or a fish-eye effect).
Thanks everyone.. @pocketmouse thanks :-) no fish-eye, the building is curved, shame I didn't have a wide angle lens to take full advantage @Cherrill thanks Cherrill... hoping for the TLC this weekend :-) @tangie - thanks, am really enjoying taking night shots at the moment.. still a big leaning curve tho... @azza_l Checked out the links - some superb city shots, has given me plenty of ideas...
Up until 2 years ago had lived in London. Fantastic city. The city itself is well worth a walk round, but not at weekends so much, when everything is closed.
@pixelchix@bradsworld@santoshnc@mixiewing@hayley@cindy@ukers Thanks guys... Nope, no laying on the ground... I haven't got to that tstage just yet :-)... Hayley, yeah, we should go to Pompey one night to take some pics, plenty to take and should be good fun...
Great pic. I never get tired of your pics so click away. And about that flu, do you have alka seltzer cold and flu? If you do ,,,take it. You will feel much better soon.

Hope better soon..
But it was worth it - a beautiful shot.
If you're interested here is a view from opposite Lloyds, from up above on the Willis building, which I think is the curve on the top left of your picture, Some spectacular night work - http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showpost.php?p=15909383&postcount=3843
