Parliament and Bridge by andycoleborn

Parliament and Bridge

Such a cold day - I don't think the mercury rose above zero all day. Despite the chill, I caught the train up to Westminster after work to take this snap.

I'd seen something similar somewhere, with the focus on Westminster Bridge, so thought I would see if I could take something along the same lines. I wish I had my tripod on me as I would have got some good long exposure shots of Parliament and the river, but as I've probably said before, since I bought it, it's lived in the boot of my car...

There was a small German market near the Eye, but was toooo cold to hang around, although maybe a spicy bratwurst wouldn't have been a bad idea. As I walked along the embankment, I noticed quite a few people setting up their gear plus a couple of guys doing a shoot near the bridge... Hmmm mentioning 'gear' 'guys' and 'shoot' normally in reference to London wouldn't have most people thinking photography...!!!

A few more from tonight here.. http://andycphotos.shutterfly.com/663#666 .

Regarding yesterday's mention of an abandoned cat, sorry to disappoint guys, but I won't be adopting it...
nice! I think i slightly prefer the other one...

This is gorgeous!! The subject matter is always majestic, but this is so wonderfully different.

...and sorry to hear the kitty won't be movin' in, but fully understand it. Since we're gone a lot, we don't have any pets because I would feel bad about it being alone so much.
