Flowers in the Snow

More snow fell overnight which made the area look really beautiful, unfortunately, I was running late so didn't have time to stop to take any photos.

Dissappointed then to reach work and find nothing there...!! Just 15 miles from my home to where I work and such a change.. Also a lot colder in London with a biting wind meant it felt more like -5 then the balmy +1 the weatherman said it was...

Had our annual work's awayday today and it was BORING!!! Probably the worse motivational group ever was brought in for the afternoon 'bonding' sessions... So, so bad... Although on reflection, we all were in agreement they were dreadful so it did get us singing from the same sheet...

When I got home I looked around for something to take and noticed this bunch of poppies standing out against the snow at the village's war memorial... thought it would do as it contrasts well against the white stuff and gives an indication of what fell overnight..

More snow - as much as 20cm due tonight...!!!

God!! It's the 1 December already!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the dash of color. Rain today but no snow. We have a ski resort not far from our house that opened up last Thursday. I wonder how much snow will be left once the rain stops.

You should see our garden! No word of a lie, but the snow is about 2 foot deep!


I dug the car out today and it took me 3 hours, Nightmare!!!!!!!!!

We are scared to look out the window just in-case its snowing AGAIN :o(
