Drove in today which meant I was able to stop off somewhere a bit different than Canary Wharf for today's photo. So, on the way home this evening about 5pm, I pulled in at the new University of East London building, opposite the City Airport at he Royal Docks in Beckton.
I'd taken a couple of snaps when I noticed a plane was about to take off so quickly flicking the shutter speed to a long exposure (13 seconds in this case) I wedged the camera against a railing and hoped to keep it steady whilst the plane passed me.
With tempetures well below freezing and gloves in my pocket, I was a bit surprised and quite pleased how this has come out.
I would of stayed a bit longer and tried a few more pics but my camera's battery ran out...
Good day in work - the reason I drove in was to stop off on the way in and buy £250 worth of kids presents for our upcoming Children's Christmas Party - Got about 40 pressies then spent the afternoon wrapping them... Always good to give the work's credit card a bashing... (plus I shopped at Tescos so kept the clubcard points :-)...)
@jobesekama thanks... Erm.. wonderful when using the works credit card and work time... On a personal note, haven't bought a single present yet..!!!! Yikes.... better pull my finger out :-)
