Woke up really late today and as I had no plans, thought I'd go out for a walk along the river, enjoy the snow and hopefully take some good shots.
Ended up walking for over 2 hours but was a little disappointed that I didn't come across any views that I thought were really nice. The area I walked along is on marsh/flood land near a bird reserve, flat and pretty much devoid of interesting things to take.
The reserve was in fact closed but I did see some twitchers along the river looking out for wading birds... I'm no expert but did see some gulls, cranes, partridges and a pair of tits... Not great... just blue :-)
Got to Tesco's at 4:05 but they had shut at 4pm so wouldn't let me in... So instead I bought a bag of chips and walked to the station to catch a train home, not before stopping to take a pic looking down the tracks - used the holga option on picnik here.
Just been adding up the loose change I've been collecting over the last few months... Got to £70 in 2p, 5p and 10p's but have now stopped as got bored...
I love this shot. I was just thinking to myself that I need to get a picture of the train tracks in the snow and wonder if it would look different...and here it is. You beat me to it! hehe!
Thanks Guys @artistmichelle ha ha thanks - seems no one else picked up on that :-) Hey... it's a crossing, so no climbing over fences breaking onto the rail track.... @cookie123 Thanks -picnik is free, you can access if you download picassa, also a free photo processing package - well worth doing as gives you plenty of things to have a play with...
