If you've been following my posts you will know that I've been after a suit in the sales and that my Christmas present, a 50mm prime lens, failed to turn up...
Well... Double good news:-)
Firstly, Sangeeta had been somewhat economical with the truth and the lens had in fact been delivered and was waiting for me when I got round to her place early afternoon on Saturday. She wanted me to be disappointed so that she could share in my joy when I found out it had been delivered....
Secondly, I had been after a suit in the sales but had so far failed to find anything... err... suitable :-)...
So in the afternoon, we headed up to Oxford Street and after some window shopping, a coffee and a bit of wandering about, I finally found a great suit, half price and just what I wanted... Needs a little alteration on the trousers so will pick it up on Wednesday....

Good day all around finished off with a thali at a very authentic South Indian resturant in East London... Absolutely delish...
All I've got to do now is learn how to use my new present....
Yay! A new present! I am looking forward to seeing your wonderful creations with this lens. I hope you find a suitable suit sometime. Shopping is hard work. haha! Like the perspective in this shot.
I missed the part of the alterations. I guess it's important to read. Something that tell my students every day. haha. Glad that you found the suit and getting the new lens a workout.
Great shot. You delivered another creative shot. Already knew of the lens as I have seen your shots and great news on the suit scene. You didn't have to pay 5,000 for a new one! It was a good day...
