Scooby's

I thought when I started this project back in October 2009, that a photo of some shoes would appear within a month. So to make it through a year and a quarter before being used as subject matter surprises the hell out of me...

I drove down to Hampshire to see my parents this afternoon, went out for lunch then a drive down to the beach... It was incredibly windy with very few people about. I took a couple of photos but nothing pleasing.

I was planning on uploading a beach photo, but like I said, I wasn't really happy so decided to stick the 50mm lens on and look around for something to take.

As I'd worn these shoes today, I decided they'll do... I know these aren't converse or any decent make, but they were a bargain... £1 in Tesco's clearance sale last summer...)..

In case you're wondering... Scoobys = Scooby Doo's = Shoes (cockney rhyming slang)

Great shot. I love the way the shoes overlap and focus on the toe. It seems that they are speaking, discussing the upcoming trip. It makes them alive.
