Went to the gym after work - for the first time this year I'm rather ashamed to say - so wasn't sure what to take once home.
I had a look around my flat and was about to light some candles and settle on a boring candle shot when I thought about some photos I've seen on here of matches or lighters being struck.
I'm not sure if this is how you do this shot or not, but it seems to have worked.. I set the shutter speed to 1 second, focused on my hand (about a foot from the lens), flicked the lighter and hoped for the best.
Look about 10 shots - this was the last one - I thought the sparks looked a little like fairies buzzing around a fire.
Hope my gym visit isn't a one off... I plan to go again tomorrow but we'll see....
I really like this, I might have to try it out myself! Well done on the gym, I've got a 10km in May and I've not pulled my trainers on since last June!!!
Only once? well, I mean....It is only 2nd Feb so you have plenty of time to catch up with me! Ive been THREE times! woohoooo 3 times since October I`ll have you know! haha
@judifff Hmmm... adding up today's visit, I think it's about 3 times since October as well (although I've used the sauna in the meantime so will count that as a visit as well ha ha)
