I know you've seen this, or very similar, shots in the past, but it's actually been 2 weeks since I last took a shot at the wharf (and nope, I haven't been suffering withdrawl symptons...haha), but what I noticed today was just how quickly the evenings are getting brighter and brighter.
This was taken at 5pm - go back a couple of weeks and it was dark at this time of the day.
Personally, I can't wait for the longer days and warmer brighter evenings. I seem to accomplish so much more when there's more daylight about...
Had to be up and out early today as I spent the whole day on a share-point scoping session in work... Was as boring as it sounds but looks like we'll be buying into it so plenty of busy days ahead...
When we get guest speaker or judges at our local camera club, they often say the same thing about reflections (I've just posted a reflection picture on here and it ignores their comments) but this is what they say.....so I'm just repeating advice and tips given to me...they say try not to have the reflection in the middle of the image and don't have the whole of the subject in the none reflective bit....complicated !!! stay with me...they would say a crop about floor 2 of the building and have the whole building in the reflection !!
Eeek that's a long comment from me...just passing on advice given to me...then again the title is mirror image, so after all my waffling u wanted the reflection in the middle !!!
thanks everyone... @phil_howcroft cheers Phil, always uselful advice - my dad passes down AP magazine, and despite all the photography rules, most articles end with "rules are ther to be broken" ha ha... @azza_l cheers mate - havce let work know you've given sharepoint the thumbs up, so if it all goes tits up - we'll send you the bill :-)
