And as usual, I passed the time on the train home processing some shots using various different apps. In the end I had to stop and like the shots of Tower Bridge from the other day, it was a tough decision to pick one image.
Finally settled on this version, with a old style film markings and a water splash filter.
Got the ok and £1000 funding to hold a photographic competition and exhibition for residents in the area where I work - this will easily be more than enough to cover printing, advertising, prizes (although I'm hopeful of blagging some freebie gifts) and calenders of the winning pics... Will keep it fairly simple with only a few categories - under 16 (boy/girl) and over 16s... Not sure at this stage whether to set some themes (ie street/portraits/b&w) or not... Still have some working out to do... But all good stuff...
Cool pic and effects. Great to be able to edit on the way home. By the time I get home, dinner, kids homework, etc. I'm so tired I have a hard time with just the upload.
very nice photo! regarding having to choose which photo to upload - been there done that got the t-shirt :)) good luck with the exhibition - I'm sure it will be a success :)
@shantwin I'm expecting to be so engrossed that i'll miss my stop one of these days :-) @erlend thanks - it's called "RetroCamera FREE". There is a paid version but the free one seems good enough as a starting point @phil_howcroft thanks - yeah I noticed that... Bit odd as never happened to me befor although I've seen duplicates of other's pics before.. enjoy the app... only fault I have is that it reduces the pic size massively
Congratulations on getting the project. I think in general people love to take photos. I'm sure the competition will be successful.
This is a great photo with the water embellishment and film strip...
I've just downloaded the retro camera app for my android.
Good luck with your competition.
BTW: This image appears three times on the 'home' option of 365. Don't know why !
