Down to Hampshire again for Pompey's last home game of the season and a chance to take Mum and Dad out for the afternoon.
Dad is a former Royal Marine Commando so we went down to Eastney Barracks in Portsmouth, the former RM HQ, and where my Dad spent many years, for a look around and a bite to eat..
So here's my parents: 5 children, 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 2 strokes, 1 brain hemorrhage and come next week, 63 years marriage!!! They've had a long and eventful life..!
As for the game.. we lost 1-0 to Norwich who were promoted to the promised land of the Premier League... Decent game.good atmosphere but me thinks Norwich are dead-certs for relegation next season..

Sounds like a winning season for your parents after 63 years of marriage. Congratulation for that and that they are still going out and doing things. Way to go!
oh your parents are NUGGETS (which in my world is a very good thing) I love that your dad has your/his camera on and your mom is wearing a nice knit sweater. They look so happy even after being married 63 years!!!!
THIS is priceless - a real keeper and you have to print it and frame it! :) My Mom and Dad celebrated 63 years last year, 7 children, 13 grand and 10 great. That must mean we are about the same age. LOL.

As fer Norwich, got late text off a (Canaries ) mate, ..yeah yeah.. The Championship is the place to be, real footy where teams can have a go, not the poisoned chalice of The Premier.. is maybe it was sour gapes.
