Wow.. this is photo 600...! Can't believe it's been 600 days that I've taken a photo every single day... Have to say, whilst the first year dragged, this second year has flown by..
Not totally happy with today's shot, would have preferred something a little more fitting with the milestone, but hey ho... there you go..
This old guy was listening / watching a live radio broadcast from BBC London this evening.. I was taking pics as my boss was being interviewed along with a couple of MPs about the impact of the Olympics on East London..
Used the HDR option from picnik on this one. I'm still not sure whether I like HDR or not...
us photographers are never happy, its good mate. Reckon pp is coming for this. Also true hdr consists of 3 exposures so its not full proper hdr. Never the less hdr is well over ratfullo this aint too bad. Hdr ends up being too cartoony
What an impressive feat! well done!
and this is a great shot! I am also ambivalent about HDR - sometimes it gives gorgeous results, but at others its not good - depends on the subject I think!
@rich57 think getting married later in the year is the real reason time is flying.. although this street photography lark seems to have given me a lift... @Weezilou@jpgiorgio@azza_l@sleepdozer57 cheers guys.. yeah, HDR is ok once ina while, this freebie on picnik isn't great, but all I've got to play with... Aaron mate, get yourself an iphone... you know you want to :-) @judifff Just a Comms Manager in social housing... nothing exciting I'm afraid...
@andycoleborn yea but they're bloody expensive even wit a a contract. Could do wit one off a back of lorry im sure it wouldnt be a loss out of mr jobs back pocket either!
What a face, somebody shoud have interviewed him, I bet he's got stories to tell. Congrats on 600. Sometimes it does seem the shots you do on the milestone days are not what you think they will be. And I know what you mean about HDR, sometimes I think it has its place other times no matter how much I play with it I end up thinking "ugh".
What is it you do for work? Ive always wanted to ask :o)
Like you, I'm not sure what I should be expecting with HDR...I somehow was expecting more than what I'm getting, but I'm enjoying the experimentation.
hdr is a whole load of extra stuff..i can see the appal and i'm having a mess about cos got no ipod got no apps..
Great pic btw
Like portraits of old folks, the older the better... which is totally weird for me because I can't hardly stand to see myself grow older.

Are you already considering a third year?
