Not a great shot of Autumn, just a quick stop at Valentine's Park to grab some shots before helping cook a mutli-course Bengali meal in the evening with Sangeeta as it's her parents last night in the UK...
Well, I sort of just chopped, washed up then scoffed... Sangeeta and her mum did the cooking...
I love Valentine's Park, I used to leave in Barkingside, and my Grandparents in Gants Hill, and I have wonderful memories of my Granddad dragging many grandchildren, our dog and our toys to the park and back. Beautiful.
@andycoleborn I always remember it being huge, with lots of little walls and secret places like a little wishing well and the aviaries...no idea if any of that is even still there!
@minxymissk Only actually been there twice.,.. today for 5 mins and last year for a walk around the lake... is well used tho and full of people which is good to see...
This is a quintessential Andy shot - goregous and beautifully shot with a touch of humor! Haha! I did a shot very similar that I recently posted but you have much more color on your trees than we have here in NY. Oh and I didnt have that funny capture of the kid on the ground.
@judithg haha yeah, the little boy had had enough and kept sitting down and refusing to move... the Dad was getting the right hump lol
@pocketmouse thanks... it's a little park called Valentine's nearby... small lake, pond and kids playing sports... nice place to be...
