Read on the web today that a set of giant Olympic rings were being floated down the Thames to be fixed to Tower Bridge.. So after work I walked down to check..!
Said giant Olympic rings were no where to be seen..!!!
So instead, I wandered over the bridge to Sarf London and Shad Thames for a different persepctive (for me anyhow).. Not many passer bys along this path so when I spotted the jogger approaching, it was just a case of waiting..
Man, I need to visit, as Eddie Izzard says, "where the history comes from". Such majestic architecture - even the bridges are awesome! Beautiful image!

They're taking out big wheel down to make room for a stupidly large television screen!! Might be nice on summer evenings to sit in the city and watch some kind of event, as long as they allow drinking in the square.
Look how beautiful this is! And there's a walkway right alongside the river and this very famous bridge. This is gorgeous! Some day I hope to travel to England.
