Tension at the Games

Had an excellent day, meeting up with Rich Tyson in Trafalgar Square before walking down past Horsegaurds (where the skimpy bikini volleyball is taking place) and onto Southbank before meeting Juilette and Isla and heading over to Stratford, via Tower Bridge, to get some of that Olympic feeling...

We couldn't get into the park so ended watching this evening's swimming finals on a big screen knocking back some pimms. My first pimms and very nice too....

This pic shows British fans cheering on swimmer Michael Jamieson as he won a silver medal in the 200m breaststroke. What was pretty cool was although we couldn't get in, the actual venue was only a few 100 yards away..
