Another Saturday and another drive down to Portsmouth to watch the worst team in our history...
And it's now 21 games since a win..! Still, on the plus side, it's 2 draws on the trot so we are undefeated in two!!!
Stopped off at Guildford Cathedral on route for a wander and a snap... No one there which pretty much sums up religion well, Christianity at least, in this country.
Sadly, you're right my friend. I believe people don't think there's anything greater than themselves... The proof is everywhere. I love this picture because it makes me a little sad.
The outside and inside are so incongruous! It’s sure beautiful inside. Nice shot! My son thinks our family was meant to be born in Europe with our more liberal views and failure to embrace Christianity with the fervor that has taken our country by storm.

The cathedrals in Europe are just so darn beautiful!! I need a photo journey to visit as many as I can. Castles. I also like castles. :) Beautiful shot, andy c, plus an appropriate title to match.

@andycoleborn You are right Andy- I re read her words and she said she thought St Mary's Church was interesting with its tower but also added ". Guildford is to have a Cathedral when it can afford it to hold the newly appointed Bishop"
beautiful -- I probably would have, mistakenly, taken in color, but I think you made a much better decision -- this is great in b/w! I'll use you for inspiration when (if) I ever make that planned trip to the National Cathedral...
