Blue Monsters

Quite handy that a man wearng blue happened to pass at just the right moment...
Andy - following your project you often comment that you know who the artist is - can I ask do you have any contact with them or is it just an interest of yours that you find out who the work is by?

The reason I ask is that in a work capacity (I am a property manager) somebody asked me if I knew any good street artists as they want to commission some work. Thanks in advance

@scarybird Hi - usually I just make a note of the name & google it - altho i fo recognise many of the styles now.. most of the 'better' artists have websites or are on twitter.. Through my work I've also been in contact about doing some murals or projects & most of them are really approachable.. I guess some would charge for a commissioned piece but there's prob some that are happy to do some streetart just to get thier work noticed..

Jim Vision at Rickwell House in Shoreditch does some brilliant work (murals on Redchurch St) and Nathan Bowen / Capt Kriss / Furia ACK / Mr Cenz all do lots of art in the area and all should be quite easy to find contact info for

Every other Saturday is the Sclater street art market & there's always half a dozen artists (most who have work that you've prob seen) doing live graffiti demonstrations so that would be a good place to make some contacts.. Hope you can sort something out..

@andycoleborn Andy really appreciate your reply I will pass it on. I will let you know if they commission anything.

I must try and get up to Brick lane on a weekend again soon as I know I am missing out on a lot of what I like taking photos of.
