I take my hat off to those who do this regularly as I thought..no problem this is easy use autofocus and the bee will smile at you as he hovers and you will have razor sharp images...well dozens of shots later I caught this one. Thankfully the sun was warm and low enough to highlight the hair on his back but no harsh enough to blow out the pale flowers.
Great shot! I've tried and failed more times than I can count to get a good, sharp photo of a bee. I've ended up with a couple that were "okay" but not as sharp as yours!
@shanne Thanks again Shanne @ronah Thanks Rona, I try and shoot fully manual all the time and this made this so much harder. Even switching to autofocus didn't help and I think the saving fact was the macro lens to get the sharpness. @alceyone Thanks Anne
