Fiori di zucca by angelikavr

Fiori di zucca

This morning, at the little farm shop I found this beautiful zucchini flowers. This flowers, can be dipped in a batter and fried or filled, added to a risotto, they are very versatile and have a nice fresh teste.
We don't really see these very much in the UK in the normal course of affairs, and, if we do, they tend to be fairly beaten up. Looking at this, I'm regretting that more than ever and I think a move to Italy might be in order post-Brexit. What a wonderful shot.

@peadar They look beaten up very quickly, already having them in the car for a bit, made them look a little wilted. Italy has also its draw backs, especially here in the Maremma, the locals are rather closed towards foreigners. Thank you for commenting so regularly.
