Nearly six years and I am still enjoying 365 and learning a lot as I go. I am constantly amazed at the quality and range of photographs on this site and the dedication of the people who commit to this project, many over lengthy periods of time. Initially when I joined I thought it would be a great achievement to make one year but now I feel as though it will continue to be a big part of my life. I am buoyed every day by all of you. Thankyou.

February 2025
Time for an update. I still enjoy my daily morning routine of posting a photo. Sometimes I have difficulty knowing what photo to post and, in busy times, even having a photo to post. I don't take photos every day but try to have some 'in store' just in case. I want to learn more about post processing as my skills there are limited but finding time is a problem.

At the prompting of Andrew-Bede Allsopp @allsop and his discussion at https://365project.org/discuss/general/49221/where-do-folk-live?#post-reply. I am adding the details of where I live. I live in inner city Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

I am now one third of the way into my third year here and still enjoying every minute of it. Posting my own photos and reviewing those of the others on this site has become part of my daily routine. I feel as though I am getting to know some people in more detail and appreciate their particular styles and strengths. I love some of my morning conversations with people from all round the world. For those interested, I can be contacted on ankers2@bigpond.com.

May 2022
I have just today completed my first full project and what a full year it has been. I have enjoyed every minute of it and I have appreciated the support and comments of so many people on this site. And, I have learnt so much. I have experimented with different approaches, stimulated by challenges and the photos of the many excellent photographers on this site.

My original profile:
I like photography and have taken photographs all my adult life. I combine photos and journaling. I love sharing photos and I love discussing them. I try to make my photographs say something, even if it’s just to me.
