"The Wizard of Oz" has been my favorite movie since I was a child. Those classic movies just have this better feel to them. Anyway, my love for the movie has turned into an addiction. I have so much memorabilia; from all 15 books in the series (yes, there are FIFTEEN books written. The movie based solely on the first book.) to an awesome drawing by Robert Gentry, to purses, to a Pez collection.
Anyway, I stayed up last night for 2 hours making this pop-up for today's photo. Here's to "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" by L. Frank Baum.
Great idea! So many people go into shock when they read the books after seeing the movie. Dorothy is not the sweet girl of the Hollywood version! I wonder what Baum would have thought about the altered screen version of his classic.
