Today we went to Golden and went to the Railroad Museum. Despite all the complaining from my children, they ended up running around and climbing all over the various train cars they have at the museum and had a good time.
Unfortunately, I don't know anything about this passenger car. There were all sorts of different engines and cabooses that you could climb into. It became a game to find and ring the bells.
We had a less than satisfying lunch at one of the local hotels followed by an even more disappointing tour of the Coors plant. They have really commercialized the tour and most of the tour is given on the tour bus and those handheld tour phones. I remember taking the tour while in college and trying to stump the tour guide. I hate how no one seems to be able to navigate while listening to the tour. I didn't even get to enjoy my free beer at the end since my kids were feeling woozy from the hoppy smell.
I'm finally home and trying to catch up with my posting and my commenting.
@hellcat It was pretty smelly and hot. Did I mention hot?
@tinmaddog Thanks so much!
Thanks everyone. This one turned out better than I thought it would.
