This tea pot held a flower arrangement at one time. I bought it to bring to my mother for her 87th birthday on January 14th 2009. She was in hospital, after having suffered a massive stroke which completely devastated her communication centre in her brain. The bouquet was so lovely that she gasped and said clearly - "WOW". I will never forget the look on her face, or her clear utterance. She died that same year, having never left hospital, on International Woman's Day, March 8, 2008.
