Silvola artificial lake in Vantaa, Finland

Maybe the artificial lake was not quite ready in the early 1960s when I and two of my cousins went through a hole of the mesh fence to swim in the pond. It got its water in 1962 from the River Vantaanjoki, but in the early 1980s a 120 km long tunnel was built to the Lake Päijänne and now it gets its water from there. Swimming was and is strictly forbidden and it is dangerous too. The water goes through a water purification plant and is distributed to one million citizens in Helsinki area.
