The groundhog, also known as a Woodchuck, is the largest member of the squirrel family. I saw this guy cutting across the edge of a parking lot yesterday. At least he wasn't eating all the lettuce in my garden. I haven't seen the groundhog that lives near us lately. But with deer now eating out of our garden, we have bigger problems there than groundhogs. This guy looks young to me.
