Red-winged Blackbird Displaying

This is kind of a bird photo cliche, but if you are out taking nature pictures in North America in the spring and anywhere near water, you will hear and see a million of these blackbirds, and since they are usually out in the open, you have to take the photo, no matter how many times you already have.

Fabulous timing to catch him in this position - I've tried forever and never gotten one even close to this - your lighting is wonderful and the details on the redwing blackbird amazing. You can even see his eye clearly (so hard on black for me) that nice neutral background is perfect. Fav big time.
