I heard this birding before I saw it, and then watched him fly into a tree to rest near the campgrounds at Pawnee National Grasslands. That was how I was able to spot him. My first shot ever of this species.
A great capture of a very difficult bird to see I expect, very much like our Nightjars that come from Africa to spend the summer here, not that we are having much of a summer with the weather as it is right now.
