Lincoln's Sparrow by annepann

Lincoln's Sparrow

We only see these in Michigan during migration, but they breed in the Rockies, so I was able to see several of them in Rocky Mountain National Park on territory and singing. The buffy wash and fine streaks on the chest distinguish them from Song Sparrows.
Perfect. Such fine detail, too.
