Super hot & humid while out looking for butterflies and dragonflies tonight. I lifted up the bottom of my t-shirt to wipe the sweat from my face and must have trapped a bee under my shirt when I dropped it back down. It proceeded to sting me!
Great Shot! I didn't know they were called Widow Skimmers... I'll have to check online to see how the males and females are different. We have many of them around here too.
