Aren't they a pretty bird? Think my neighbor and I have figured our "no birds" problem out - a widow in the neighborhood has taken up feeding stray cats (we think as many as 10 - who are reproducing) and wandering over all the yards. Fences of course are no deterrent to a cat!
Love these jays! We have others too, stellar's are being seen now around Calgary and of course our 'whisky jack' or more formally, Canada jay in the boreal forest, and the Clark's nutcracker in the mountain....
